Digimon Masters (디지몬 마스터즈) is a free to play micro-transaction supported MMORPG in a setting based on that of the Digimon media franchise, specifically the Digimon Data Squad anime. The game was first released in South Korea but an English version is scheduled to be released in 2011 by WeMade Entertainment.[1]

Gameplay

Players control an avatar of one of the four main characters of Digimon Data Squad: Masaru Daimon, Thomas H. Norstein, Yoshino Fujieda, and Ikuto Noguchi. The players are not intended to be representing the actual characters, and thus are allowed to choose their own name and modify their appearance to some extent. Players then choose a "partner Digimon." The partner Digimon selected is one of the three used by Masaru, Thomas, Yoshino and Ikuto in Data Squad: Agumon, Gaomon, Lalamon or Falcomon. Regardless, the player chooses a partner Digimon, which they use in battle and accomplish NPC-given missions, the player may also hatch new digimon from digitama dropped by wild digimon. Over the course of the game, partner and mercenary Digimon will digivolve into stronger forms (some of which may require special items or quests to unlock) and learn new skills.
