He was the son of Ali ibn Abdullah ibn Abbas the Uncle of Prophet Muhammad. He was born in Humaima in Palestine. He was the founder of Abbasid Movement in Arabia. When Mukhtar Saqfi announced the revenge of Imam al-Huseyn. He showed him self as the representive of Mohammad ibn Hanifia, the Promised Mehdi according to him. After the death of Mohammad ibn Hanifia, Imamate of Kaysaniyah transfered to his son Abul-Hashim, who transferred his Imamate to Mohammad ibn Ali Abbasi, the Grandson of the Prophet's Uncle [[Abbas ibn Abd-al-Muttalib]. In this way, the political activities started of Mohammad ibn Ali.
