"Ahead by a Century" is the first single by The Tragically Hip from the band's fifth studio album, Trouble at the Henhouse. The song reached #1 on Canada's singles chart,[1] and was nominated for "Best Single" at the 1997 Juno Awards.[2] It is the most successfully charted single in Canada in the band's history.
Music video
The song's music video, directed by Eric Yealand, was filmed on a small farm in Whitby, Ontario. The video won the award for Best Video at the 1996 MuchMusic Video Awards.[3][4]
