Thanks for help with Infront Sports & Media International versions
I have asked for some further help from the Help Desk as you advised. At least for now (thanks to your feedback) I will get the English version translated into the relevant languages and wait to hear back from the Help Desk. If you come across any additional reference points I would be very grateful. For your info another user told me about interwikilinks and interlanguagewikilinks so I've got a colleague attempting that on the German page. Hard for me as I dont' speak German!
Once again many thanks Clnatinfront (talk) 13:10, 15 February 2011 (UTC)
- Haha best of luck with your translation work! The people at the help desk are very quick at answering; I've found. A lot of users patrol that page regularly for new questions, so I would check back quite often. Chevymontecarlo 17:07, 15 February 2011 (UTC)
Thanks!
Thanks for offering to be my mentor for Bauer's class at Michigan State University. I'm much obliged! If I have any questions, I'll be sure to let you know. Carl67lp (talk)
- Excellent! Best of luck with your classes. Chevymontecarlo 16:24, 18 February 2011 (UTC)

Dear User ChevymonteCarlo,
I have made the changes recommended by you and made the article more comprehensive than before. Please take a look and let me know if it is up to your expectation or what improvements to make.
regards, abhishek

- Well, I think in terms of layout it's a lot better but I think it's probably best if another user was to review it; it's already marked for review at WP:AFC so another editor should be around soon to give some feedback. Hope that helps. Chevymontecarlo 15:30, 19 February 2011 (UTC)
Mentoring students: be sure to check in on them
This message is going out to all of the Online Ambassadors who are, or will be, serving as mentors this term.
Hi there! This is just a friendly reminder to check in on what your mentees are doing. If they've started making edits, take a look and help them out or do some example fixes for them, if they need it. And if they are doing good, let them know it!
If you aren't mentoring anyone yet, it looks like you will be soon; at least one large class is asking us to assign mentors for them, and students in a number of others haven't yet gotten to asking ambassadors to be their mentors, but may soon. --Sage Ross - Online Facilitator, Wikimedia Foundation (talk) 20:05, 21 February 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for responding to people at WP:FEED. It seems like an important activity to me. Do you think you've ever made the difference in keeping some people around, by nudging them over the learning curve so that they stick around? Thanks again. Jesanj (talk) 23:24, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
- Well, I think a lot of new contributors on Wikipedia join up, create a few articles and then never login back again, and it's hard to change that. Really though there are some many newcomers arriving all the time it doesn't really matter; people will decide whether they want to stay or not regardless. Please be the mentor for the students working on National Telecommunications and Information Administration
Hi again, Ryan! I'm currently trying to assign mentors to all the remaining groups in Professor Obar's class. Would you be the mentor for the group of students working on National Telecommunications and Information Administration ? If you can do it, thanks! If not, please let me know.--Sage Ross - Online Facilitator, Wikimedia Foundation (talk) 01:40, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, I'd be happy to do that. That's okay. Chevymontecarlo 06:45, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
Online Ambassador Program
Please take a look at this project page and see if you can be a mentor to one of the many Areas of Study. If you can, please put your name in the "Online Mentor" area of the Area of Study of your choice and then contact the students you will be working with. As the Coordinating Online Ambassador for this project, please let me know if I can be of assistance. Take Care...Neutralhomer • Talk • 04:28, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for review of User:Itkidontheblock/THBS
Hi Chevymontecarlo,
Thanks for the comments on my article. I've added some information from a news website on an event that was covered by the media. Will this do?
Thanks in advance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Itkidontheblock (talk • contribs) 10:50, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, I think that is a little better. The article, or 'stub' in it's present form as it's a bit shorter than the average article, could probably benefit from a infobox though. Chevymontecarlo 19:23, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

- Hi Chevymontecarlo, This is wikihbridge who wrote the Pulsa article - I was writing a stub to get the topic out in the open where people with more information can fill it in. Did you check the reference material? Especially check the footnotes in it. In the art world showing at MOMA is a very big deal. The Yale golf course installation is included in many books on tech art.
I really don't know what to say about this rejection - check the current Wikipedia for Pulsa - which is "Pulsa refers to a system of pre-paid credit for handphones in Indonesia." This is important information in an encyclopedia and a group of three artists who showed at MOMA is not?
