Parsian style
Appearance
The "Parsian style" (شیوه معماری پارسی) is a style (sabk) of architecture when categorizing the history of Iranian architecture development. Although Achaemenid architecture falls under this classification, the pre-Achaemenid architecture is also studied as a sub-class of this category.
This style of architecture flourished from the 8th century BCE (The Median Empire), through the Achaemenid dynasty, to the arrival of Alexander of Macedonia in the 3rd century BCE.[1]
