Olesya Stefanko (Ukrainian: Олеся Стефанко; born c. 1988) is a Ukrainian beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Ukraine Universe 2011 and will represent her country in the 2011 Miss Universe pageant.
Early life
Born in Kolomyia, Stefanko was named Miss Odesa National Law Academy in 2008 as a student at the Institute of Prosecution and Investigation prior to her participation in Miss Ukraine Universe.[2] She's currently pursuing a law degree in Odessa.[1]
Miss Ukraine Universe 2011
Stefanko, who stands 1.77 m (5 ft 9+1⁄2 in) tall, competed as one of 15 finalists in her country's national beauty pageant, Miss Ukraine Universe, held in Kiev on December 11, 2010, where she became the eventual winner of the title, gaining the right to represent Ukraine in Miss Universe 2011.[4]
Miss Universe 2011
As the official representative of her country to the 2011 Miss Universe pageant, broadcast live from São Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011, Stefanko will vie to succeed current Miss Universe titleholder, Ximena Navarrete of Mexico.[5]
