2008 Results

It is nice that 2008 has it's own article, but for references shouldn't 2008 have it's own box area with match listings, promo picture, and other details in addition to a "More Information: Destination X 2008" so the page stays uniform? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.225.127.155 (talk) 18:38, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well the entire page needs to be redone. But since I'm really the only guy who expands the TNA ppvs, it can't be done at the moment. After all of the Destination X articles are transformed to their single articles and expanded, that is when it is good enough to expand the whole article to FL. See Royal Rumble or WWE No Way Out. Those articles is what Destination X should look like, but there is no one to do it but me and I won't have time to begin the process until I'm done with all the ppvs from 2008, including the 2008 Destination X.--WillC 22:15, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Moving articles

I think that what did this lad Aaru Bui with moving of TNA articles was totally arbitrary. Moving TNA Destination X to just "Destination X" was a very wrong move. There was just a few wrestling articles who didn't carry the initial of the pro wrestling promotion who runs the event for a variety of reasons. Because the PPV has been ran by various promotion (The Great American Bash, who has been ran by the NWA, by WCW and by WWE) or because of their status (WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble). In this case, removing the tag didn't have any reason. Something should be done with this lad, he's doing a lot of things out of control. That's my case. Xbox6 14:37, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

First of all, take this discussion to WP:PW or Talk:WWE Cyber Sunday. Second, I agree with him. The organizations name should only be uninclude when its need for disambig reasons (WWE Armageddon, for example). There is no other article named "Destination X". Team 3D

I am not watching the PPV, but I've been fixing up the links and such. How did Ray hit a 3D on Devon. The 3D is a double-team move that can't be done with only one person. So what really happened? Gavyn Sykes (talk) 01:58, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Also, weren't they supposed to leave TNA if they lost ? (From [1] at 00:53, said by Shark Boy.)
I am very confused by this as well. I watched iMPACT and heard Shark Boy's stipulation and remember the part that if they lost or didn't make weight, either one, that they'd be fired. Well...they lost, are they fired? Good riddance if they are :) .TonyFreakinAlmeida (talk) 05:58, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
More likely just an error on Shark Boy's part. They never mentioned that stipulation before the match and never mentioned it after the match. Only Shark Boy said that. Gayvn, what happened was that Johnny Devine accidentally threw something in Ray's eyes (he was aiming for Curry Man) and Ray thought he was doing the 3D on Curry Man or Shark Boy. TJ Spyke 17:01, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think he means who threw devon up for ray to hit the 3d on him with, since you cant just do it to someone by yourself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.78.22.139 (talk) 21:06, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

On tna.com they said that team 3D wouldnt be fired if they lost. I'm On Base (talk) 22:00, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is better just to wait till Impact this Thursday to find out if they are fired or not. There has been a rumor going around that they will leave TNA after their contract is done and go back to WWE so they might be fired. Lets just wait till Impact.--WillC (talk) 22:19, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If this move is done, almost every ECW page should be. i.e. ECW Anarchy Rulz. RandySavageFTW (talk) 10:04, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In reality I don't remember a guideline, but thats my guess seeing how WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, and the Royal Rumble dont have the WWE initials in front of them.--SRX 02:10, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe because they've all been made into games? SAVIOR_SELF.777 05:14, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect?

Why does the "Destination X 2011" link redirect to Destination X page? It's a bit pointless if the page doesn't exists. Just don't have a link. Having a link to the page you are already is even more pointless. 94.196.46.122 (talk) 19:14, 17 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
