Request reason:
I'm the uncle of Max (MVEi in here), and i'm living in their house till the end of the week. They have one computer, so obviously we have the same IP while i'm here. I'm here to improve articles on martial arts, and what MVEi has to do with this? i hope someone could unblock me and fix this act of Negligence.
Decline reason:

MA templates
[edit]Please do not add stub class articles to the templates, if we do the will over fill & become unwieldy and useless. --Nate1481( t/c) 11:47, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- Ok the Buza article is a stub, but Russian All-Round Fighting article is not a stub. PocketMoon 11:59, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- Fair point it could do with a tidy up first though. A couple of source/refs and a picture would help too. --Nate1481( t/c) 12:14, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- Their are two links given their. PocketMoon 12:17, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- Ideally they should be inline, see WP:CITE for the ways of doing this. Also you may want to consider joining the matrial arts project if you are generally interested in MAs don't think we have may people with much knowledge of Russian arts --Nate1481( t/c) 12:24, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- Nice idea, haven't known about it, thank you. P.S. This style had references, they just were given wrongly. They made [] instead of the Cite error: There are

tags on this page without content in them (see the help page). things. PocketMoon 12:27, 12 October 2007 (UTC)- Shit! I joined the wikiproject, and i'm the 99th to join it. If i'd wait a few days, i could be the 100th! PocketMoon 12:30, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Two points on this. First, the USSR is separate political entity from Russia, albeit one that no longer exists. Nevertheless, the name of the state that was in power when sambo and systema were created was the USSR. If Russian All-Round Fighting goes in the {{manav by country}} navbox, then it should go under a separate heading for Russia.
Which brings me to my second point. Which is that Russian All-Round Fighting looks to me more like a school of martial arts that selectively teaches elements of several types of martial arts. When combined with the fact that Russian All-Round Fighting was very recently created, I have trouble as seeing it as a distinct "type" of martial art. It seems more like a school like traditional Japanese martial arts schools, that all taught a collection of warrior skills, such as swordsmanship, grappling, spearmanship, etc..., and just because different schools taught unique selections of these skills doesn't make each school a new "type" of martial art.
Nevertheless, I think you raise good points, and I think this topic is worthy of further discussion. To that end, I'm going to copy your post on my talk page, and this response, to the project talk page, here. Bradford44 13:30, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- Russian All-Round Fighting is a hybrid martial art. Shure it includes elements from other schools, but it has alot of it's own, and it's own rules. I wouldn't say it was recently created. It was formed in 1998, that's already almost 10 years. Anyway, what do you say if we turn it into a one section: USSR/Russia? PocketMoon 13:40, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Russian martial arts
[edit]Hi, PocketMoon! Although I am indeed a Russian, I, unfortunately, don't know much about Russian martial arts nor, frankly, am I much interested in this topic. You might have better luck if you post at Portal:Russia/Russia-related Wikipedia notice board; at least more people will see your request for assistance. Cheers,—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 18:01, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you! Haven't known about that thing. PocketMoon 18:03, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Who blocked me??
[edit]What "genious" took me as a sockpupet?? I'm here to work on martial arts, how exaclly am i MVEI? Not logical. PocketMoon 12:01, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- Some administrators here are playing to much in that role (probably because they are nobody in real life). We figured everything out. I'm the uncle of Max (MVEi in here), and i'm living in their house till the end of the week. They have one computer, so obviously we have the same IP while i'm here. But the administrator didn't even ask. When administrators does things without doing a real check, its Negligence. It's also called being a donkey. PocketMoon 16:53, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I'm certainly not going to unblock you now. Please review our civility guidelines. ---J.S (T/C/WRE) 17:40, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- And blocking an honest man without any questions is civil to you? When i said it's called being a donkey it means being ignorant, paying no attention. I came here to contribute to a topic that there are not many to work on, Russian martial arts, which i know about. I am a master of sport in Sambo, and while serving in the Spetznaz i learned the Systema. I also reached a combat level at the Russian All-Round fighting. I came to cotribute, and i did. I expanded and referenced the Russian All-Round Fighting and i'm trying to get more Russians to write on other Russian martial arts. And thats what i get for my good intentions?? Being blocked like a little boy without being asked any questions?? PocketMoon 17:56, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- Which one of you created User:Donetsk, User:Leningrad Time, User:ContraBANDa 7, User:Third Rome, User:You won't catch me, and lastly but not leastly, one with a sufficiently crude and racist name I won't list it? --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 17:53, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- It's me creating acounts after i couldn't enter this one. I created a new one, and couldn't enter it to. Then i found out that the reason for that was that the Hebrew language stood at the computer, and the language that needs to be for my pasword is English. I thought it doesn't matter till Max explained me. You could see i havent done one edit from those accounts. The last names were written because i got mad on Wikipedia, i couldn't understand that the English language must stand when entering a password. PocketMoon 17:56, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- P.S. Just for the record. While surfing Wikipedia i always surf other sites, in English, in Russian and in Serbian (i spent there a few years fighting for Srbia at the Bosnian war). Every time i entered a site the language on the computer reverted, so every time returning to enter the new account the language was different from the one i signed with. PocketMoon 18:04, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- So, let's see, you were mad at Wikipedia and so created this? Odd logic. No thanks. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 18:06, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- Yes. I havent made one edit from that acount haven't i? Exacly. It can be deleted as far as i can. PocketMoon 18:07, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
