I need to add a new title before my username on my user page and when i tried this this warning message was shown up:Warning: An automated filter (139) has identified this edit as containing fixed position content. As this is sometimes used for vandalism, it has been disallowed for non-confirmed users. If this edit is not vandalism, please use help me to ask another user to make the edit for you. I also tried helpme but the message showed up again so i'm looking forward to be a confirmed user to do this. Please help. Thanks John27Lord 15:31, 9 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to add photo files to articles that need to be expanded.
Question: Could you describe the copyright status of the image(s) you wish to upload? Mlpearc powwow 21:51, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
(answer) I own the copyright from any and all images I plan on uploading.
Your comment says "articles that need to be expanded" that could be a wide range of articles and a wide range of images. Mlpearc powwow 14:42, 12 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
(answer) I am a photographer and have traveled around the word taking various images. Most of what I add will be culturally based. I photographed a few American musicians, but mostly historical and cultural artifacts.
Do you want to retain all rights to images or do you plan on releasing the images under GFDL or a Creative Commons license? If you want to retain all rights you could only add to articles under Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria. If you release the images under GFDL or a Creative Commons license the images should be uploaded to the Commons. GB fan 15:34, 12 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I am requesting AutoConfirmed status to upload/update the profile photo on the Wikipedia page for Todd Haberkorn. Per Todd Haberkorn, I have permission to upload the selected photo. Photo is property of Todd Haberkorn. Tinyseabeast (talk) 14:56, 12 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Since Todd Haberkorn is a living person we can only use a free image. Free images should be uploaded to Commons so they can be used on any project within Wikimedia. Also since Todd Haberkorn is the copyright holder, he will have to confirm the permission. This page, Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials, should help him understand what he needs to do.
