Last Sessions is the final studio album released by country blues musician Mississippi John Hurt. It was released posthumously in 1972 by Vanguard Records, and features Hurt's final recordings, made in 1966. This would be Hurt's fourth posthumous release.[1] Like his previous releases, Last Sessions contains a mixture of folk and blues music, all performed with an acoustic guitar. Hurt's producer, Patrick Sky, does accompany him on several tracks.[2]
