WDAR-FM (105.5 FM), known as "Sunny 105.5", is an adult contemporary formatted radio station licensed to Darlington, South Carolina. The station airs the Bob and Sheri morning show.

History

At one time this was a classic rock station. It was also a country music radio station known as "Gator 105.5".[citation needed]

In a deal announced in February 1997, Root Communications Ltd. announced plans to buy eight radio stations owned by Florence-based Atlantic Broadcasting, including WDAR-FM.[2] Qantum Communications Inc. purchased Florence's Root Communications Group LP stations in 2003.[3]
