Why is the lead so short?

Gah, don't archive me!

As per WP:USCITY guidelines, the lead should contain a bit more about the city, generally:

  • Population decline
  • Historical roots and founding
  • Basis of economy
  • Nickname, if notable
  • What the city's known for

None of that is here anymore. Why?--Louiedog (talk) 16:09, 3 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
