Spelling Error and bare urls

Eh, this page is protected so someone who can should fix the spelling of 'incarcerated' in the box on the right side of the page, as well as the bare urls in the references. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aindriahhn (talkcontribs) 22:14, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The previous content of this page was unsourced puffery, and most if not all of the deleted material came from the designer's own website or from another fashion site. Content cannot be copied; it must be sourced from reliable sources, and worded in a neutral point of view. The effect of the deletions is of course to severly truncate the article, and emphasize the individual's legal difficulties rather than his career. That can be avoided by adding objectively-written content which does not violate copyright. Kablammo 18:46, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It would have been preferable to rewrite the section using the designer's website as a source instead of leaving this article for 9 months as a BLP-violating mess. Please work slower and better in the future. Phil Sandifer (talk) 17:51, 1 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Categories

I am unsure as to if Anand Jon should be listed in Category:American rapists, Category:American sex offenders and/or Category: Convicted American child molesters. In References 3 and 4 he is described as convicted of Sexual Assault and Rape respectively, although in the actual articles it says "Sexual Assault". Additionally the victims were under 18, so is that child molestation. For right now he is listed in Category:American sex offenders as Rape and child molestation do fall under Sex offences. I would appreciate some input. ARTEST4ECHO (talk) 15:16, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong. Child molestation is not statutory rape (which in California would refer to victims under 18, but under 17 in most of the USA.) In California, child molestation refers to victims under 14. Anand Jon is certainly a convicted rapist and sex criminal and no one is claiming he is an innocent victim who was entrapped, but not a child molester. Not everyone who is a very bad person, not even if they're a very bad person who commits sex crimes,is a child molester. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.229.96.226 (talk) 05:47, 3 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

He's still a filthy paedophile, so I hope the INS deport him. They can if he's convicted of a crime or moral turpitude. (Chris Henniker (talk) 23:08, 12 October 2011 (UTC))[reply]

Indian connections

He is the nephew of KJYesudas [[1]] a very famous Keralite carnatic singer. This article in [Times of India] is of a co-student who studied with him in Loyola college. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.182.146.239 (talk) 11:10, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Name

All court records, criminal charges, and media reports use his legal name, Anand Jon Alexander. Arguably, the article should be under that name and his abbreviated name, Anand Jon, should redirect to his legal name. Blue Sheepdog (talk) 16:34, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Juror misconduct delay

Given the charges of juror misconduct[2] and juror tampering which significantly delayed sentencing, arguably the article should include some mention of that. I think I'll add a sentence now. Blue Sheepdog (talk) 16:34, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The age at the time of parole is incorrect

The statement "As a result, Jon would not be eligible for parole until the year 2075, when he would be 67 years old" is incorrect. If Anand Jon was born in 1973, he would be 102 years old by then. Ananad jon will be eleigible for parole in 2075, and that is correct too. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.207.237.94 (talk) 15:38, 26 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
