Rename

Rename to "klondike derby" per the [http://www.scouting.org/identity/los/los.jsp?typ=los&how=alfa&wat=K language of Scouting. --Gadget850 ( Ed) 12:48, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Double redirects fixed. --Gadget850 ( Ed) 17:43, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unnotable

Why is this even a page? Why do stubs not have to meet notability requirements? Should they be deleted if they are never expanded upon? Can any non-notable article simply be marked as a stub to stay on Wikipedia? Why do stubs make no sense! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.42.222.149 (talk) 19:39, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It's {{WP:N|notablity]] is proven through the secondary sources that talk of it. Any Scout from (at least) the Northeast Region of the BSA would be more than familair with such a contest. Compare Pinewood Derby -Achowat (talk) 19:42, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Is there an article about Klondike Derby sleds? Any Scout from (at least) the NE Region would be more than familiar with Klondike Derby sleds.75.42.222.149 (talk) 19:58, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Why can't I make pages for things? I need to fix it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.42.222.149 (talk) 20:06, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
If there was sufficient verifiable secondary sources about sleds and their construction and use, then by all means there should be an article about them. -Achowat (talk) 20:08, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Removal Discussion per Achowat

Why does the User talk:75.42.222.149 page exist? That doesn't seem to belong in an encyclopedia. Somebody delete it.75.42.222.149 (talk) 20:14, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
