I am a frequent file editor and thus I notice a lot of meaningless names which I will be able to change if I have this right. Ankit Maity Talkcontribs 15:34, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Wasn't your application rejected less than two days ago? Reaper Eternal (talk) 15:42, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes.--Ankit Maity Talkcontribs 15:52, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not certain that "go and make 50 file edits then come right back" was what the declining administrator meant when suggesting you get more experience. I'll let a more experienced file admin deal with it. Reaper Eternal (talk) 16:06, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No, since it is my vacation now, I had a lot of time. So, I went over WP:NFC, WP:NFCC and all. In addition, in the intervals I made some file edits. So, that's all.--Ankit Maity Talkcontribs 16:14, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
 Not done Let's try 2 weeks, not 2 days. -FASTILY (TALK) 21:43, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with Fastily. I do not see the required level of competency in the file namespace --Guerillero | My Talk 01:45, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm active for moving images to the commons, but I would like to be moving images. I find that there are a lot of images that need to be moved (Not tranfered) in the MTC backlog and that it's not recommended to move while transferring. ~~Ebe123~~ → report on my contribs. 13:37, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have been editing wikipedia for four years now, I believe to be very experienced and to have a good knowledge of Wikipedia policy. I don't specialise with images and media on Wikipedia as such, but from time to time I do have to make edits regarding images and media; in some previous situations I think I could have made some constructive media movements had I had the right to do so. The move file right has been something I have been looking into for some time now, if I had the right I wouldn't use it every day however I would use it from time to time and I believe it would make me an overall better wikipedian. Regards IJA (talk) 14:14, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
{{not done}} Unfortunately, it would be difficult to judge how you would use this right because your last edit to the file-namespace was in July 0f 2010, and you have very few edits there overall. I recommend having some recent work in that namespace before seeking this userright. Thanks. Acalamari 14:37, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Probably because I do most of it through Wikimedia Commons. IJA (talk) 14:44, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry about that, I didn't notice your work over there. It seems good to me so I've reconsidered and  Done this for you now. Acalamari 14:48, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much. Regards IJA (talk) 16:05, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
