Request for Confirmed

So that you can just delete the Request ... no, that's based on a time/contributions thing. Has this bot gone through BFRA...and why are you asking for confirmed status for someone else? (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 14:46, 18 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ah thanks for that. I only ask because it's a little annoying to have my recent changes log filled up with banner changes. I'm sure a lot of other recent changes patrollers feel the same way, and I doubt the bot creator would have asked. It's not my bot, but yes, it appears that it has passed BRFA (although it doesn't yet have a flag). I'm also glad you noticed my failure at wikimarkup ;) Arctic Night 14:50, 18 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think you may have fallen for a hoax. Try comparing that article with Yannick Djaló. Favonian (talk) 16:17, 18 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

D'oh. Thanks for that... I'll fix it now :) Arctic Night 16:19, 18 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Moscow Dynamite

Hello,

I am sure you were acting in good faith and the circumstances do tend to raise doubts. Now that the matter has been discussed, and the new editor has offered a convincing explanation, I suggest you say a few friendly words on their talk page. Not a apology, but just a friendly greeting. I left a welcome message myself a few minutes ago. Take care. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 17:59, 18 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Done :) No, I don't feel compelled to offer an apology, but Moscow is clearly a capable editor, so I'm looking forward to maybe collaborating on a few DYKs with him/her. Arctic Night 18:13, 18 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Nicely done, so thank you very much. Nothing beats a friendly greeting.Maybe you I can collaborate on a thing or two as well, and take them to DYK. I'll take a look at the sorts of things you work on. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 04:42, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there! Not a problem - thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. If you'd like to keep contributing to the encyclopedia, a great place to start is Did You Know. You can get the warm fuzzy feeling of having nursed an article from nothing right up to fully-fledged article, and you might even see your contribution on the Main Page ;) If you've ever got any questions, please feel free to shoot me a message. I'll try my best to help! Arctic Night 19:44, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, you've been Awesome ^-^

I've actually been trying to make the article better, after all the negative responses it was getting ^-^

Thanks again :D Xormus97 (talk) 20:11, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Haha, thank you!! A kitten and a cookie... you've made my day :) That's great that you're interested in helping out with the encyclopedia, and maybe one day you'll decide to help in some other areas as well. It'd certainly be welcome! Just remember to keep within our copyright rules and you'll be fine. That message I left on your page was a template ({{Uw-copyright}}) by the way - that 'exclamation warning' thing wasn't my doing. I had hoped that this template would have been more similar to the other new user warnings we give out (take {{Uw-taxonomy1}} for example), but instead it came out with all these warnings about being blocked and stuff... Again, let me know if you have any questions! :) Arctic Night 20:19, 19 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Human Rights Act 2003

Hi. According to your external link for the Nunavut Human Rights Tribunal, the act is (also) called the Nunavut Human Rights Act. I would recommend a rename to that, in order to better describe what Human Rights Act 2003 is to our readers. Any objection if I do so?Shawn in Montreal (talk) 00:03, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there - sorry for the late reply, I've been off-wiki lately. I would have a minor objection to that - other Human Rights Acts around the world do not have country names appended to them (e.g. Human Rights Act 1998). For consistency's sake, I would favour keeping the article as it is. Arctic Night 15:02, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Willie Adams, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Newfoundland (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

DYK nomination of the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Nunavut

[[Image:Symbol question.svg|25px] Hi arctic night. I've reviewed your DYK nomination and left a couple of comments that I think should be addressed first. Thanks, Wittylama 10:24, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
