Requests for registration

Please read the guide on the main page before requesting permission. In applying for AWB access, you indicate that you will abide by its terms.

Also, this page is for requesting AWB Access for this wiki (English Wikipedia) only. Other projects have their own check pages and you should ask administrators there to add you.

Please add your name to the bottom of the list using *{{AWBUser|your username}} ~~~~~. Enter your user name exactly as it is, do not add underscores instead of spaces or change the case of the first letter.

If the list contains undecided entries that are over 48 hours old, please add {{Admin backlog}} to the top of this page.

Note that users with under 500 mainspace non-automated edits are rarely approved. You only need to give a reason for wanting AWB access if you have fewer than 500 mainspace non-automated edits.

If approved, your name will be added to the CheckPage.

Users

Not done at this time due to some concerns that are still being expressed. Please consider reapplying in a few weeks when your talk page demonstrates that you are more familiar with policies and/or formatting processes. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 07:22, 20 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I don't understand. Can you elaborate for me? What do I need to do to be reconsidered? Allen (talk) 20:45, 20 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Too many recent concerns expressed on your talk page page give me pause. - AWB is a powerful tool. If you can demonstrate a clear history of error-free formatting over the next few hundred edits etc., I'll be happy to reconsider. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 13:39, 22 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. You have fewer than 500 edits to mainspace. That said, you have only made 160 edits to Wikipedia in the last six months. I would like to see some significant regular editing that demonstrates a need for this tool in areas where it is appropriate. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 05:45, 24 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Adding original request back that was mistakenly archived by KingpinBot (as far as I can see without approval or disapproval) here. I also left a message about this on the bot's talk page. Jane (talk) 11:48, 9 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Mostly for the search and replace feature to switch em and en dashes, so I can edit those live instead of taking them into a note pad or word processor. I can wait... Meclee (talk) 17:54, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I've used the request format required, but "example" keeps appearing instead of my name F=q(E+v^B) because of the "=" sign =( could the admin still accept it?
(Non-administrator comment) You have only 373 edits to the article namespace (manual count in contributions, because X!'s Edit Counter doesn't work for this username). Could you elaborate what do you want to do with this tool? Armbrust, B.Ed. Let's talkabout my edits? 12:07, 2 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Well I intended to use it for spelling and disambiguating links, I have to do that a lot when trying to clean up pages (and would rather not leave it for others to do strenuously after). The edit counter in the "my preferences" section said 897, but since there is only 373 for main space never mind. I didn't realize there was so few edits (couldn't see the point in counting these in "my contributions"). Forget it - its not going to happen, is it? I'll just tediously make the fix ups myself. Thanks anyway.
I think you'll find that the equals and plus signs in your username are going to cause a number of issues such as the one above - see what happens with the "count" link, for example. —DoRD (talk) 14:55, 2 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
(Non-administrator comment) Well, it was a good manual count, because wikichecker is having no problems for your edit count. --Extra999 (talk) 04:06, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

As you can see, I am currently using WikiCleaner to fix errors and typos on Wikipedia. I would benefit from using this tool to semi automatically fix more errors and basic typos on the articles. Regards, Wikih101 (talk) 20:53, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You're just a handful short of the 500 article space edits threshold. Perhaps wait until you hit 500? Tyrol5 [Talk] 23:37, 8 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This account is used by User:90 to make automated edits. It was recently renamed from User:AK Auto (which is already on the checkpage) to User:90 Auto. Could you please remove AK Auto and add 90 Auto? Thanks! --90 Auto (talk) 20:26, 9 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Just in case you need to confirm that User:90 owns this account, here is an edit made while logged into my main account, User:90. --Andrew (User:90) (talk) 05:44, 10 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
