Metro Eduardo Molina (Spanish: Estación Eduardo Molina) is a station on Line 5 of the Mexico City Metro.[1][2] It is a surface station that lies within the median of Avenida Río Consulado.[1] It serves the Colonia Malinche and Colonia 20 de Noviembre neighborhoods of Mexico City.[1] The station was opened on 19 December 1981.[3]
Its logo represents a part of the masterpiece El Agua, Origen de la Vida (The water, origin of life) by Diego Rivera.[1] It represents two hands taking water.[1][2] The station is named in honor of Eduardo Molina, an important engineer, who solved the problem of water scarcity in the 1960's in Mexico.[1]
