Leonardo Nam (born in Buenos Aires, November 1979) is an Argentine Australian actor of Korean origin.

Early life

Nam was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, of Korean descent. At the age of 8, he moved to Sydney, Australia. Nam attended Sydney Technical High School and studied architecture at the University of New South Wales. Nam left Sydney to follow his dreams of an acting career in New York City at the age of 19. He studied with several acting teachers in New York, namely Austin Pendleton and William Carden at HB Studios. His brother is a choreographer, and his sister is a teacher; they both live in the United Kingdom.

Acting career

Before his Hollywood success, he struggled to make ends meet by working at Lotus Bar in the Meatpacking District of New York and acted in Georgia Lee's Educated with Fay Ann Lee. His breakthrough role came in his performance of Roy in The Perfect Score (2004). He had a small role in the 2005 film The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants as Brian McBrian, a hardcore gamer. He then played a larger role in "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2" as Tibby's boyfriend. He also made an appearance in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006) as Morimoto.
