I've uploaded a lot of files, and it would be convenient to be able to move them to better match what the image is describing. Not just on my images though, but other ones with weird names like "Screenshot at 5:48PM.jpg", when it's a picture of an application. Or if the name just doesn't work. Not done. You are certainly experienced when it comes to the file namespace; however, I see that you have never asked for files to be renamed, so I cannot asses your expertise with regard to the renaming policy. I suggest you propose a couple of renames using {{Rename media}} and then come back and re-request this flag. Cheers.

Let me add that some of the "experience" in the file namespace concerns me. Just skimming through your upload log, I'm seeing unnecessarily high res non-free images (example, example, example) and disconcertingly simple and short non-free use rationales (this is a problem in most of your uploaded images). For all your "experience", I'm not convinced you sufficiently understand image policy. It's a 'not done' from me as well. Swarm ^X 00:19, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to request the File mover right because I enjoy doing tedious behind the scene work including nominating files to be renamed. I feel like I have nominated many files to be moved successfully and I have a firm grasp of WP:IFN. I also feel it would be both easier and more responsible if I were able to just move files instead of consistently needing to request they be moved. -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 23:24, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
