Psy has been extremely popular ever since his debut. He is not underground, and he is a well loved mainstream artist. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 222.155.137.165 (talk) 13:31, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Profile

Real name: Park Jae Sang (박재상) Born: December 31, 1977 Blood type: O Education: Boston University, Berkley College of Music

Biography

PSY (싸이) is a Korean hip hop artist. Although not a mainstream hip hop artist, he is popular underground due to his great sense of humour and his unique concerts (he always imitates the greatest female star of the day (in 2006, it was Lee Hyori). He has appeared on numerous variety programs, including Good Sunday: X-Man and The Golden Fishery.

PSY is unique amongst Korean singers. The most obvious fact being that he received his education in the United States, graduating from both Boston University and Berklee College of Music. He showed off his own sense of style and music in his first album, which also confirmed his creativity. He was fined for this album, the reason that his music promoted inappropriate content for underage listeners. His second album was also banned, amazingly enough for the opposite reason, with people claiming it was inappropriate for listeners over the age of eighteen.

The above source quotes this wiki article as its only source. Are there no English publications on K-pop to refer to as an actual 3rd party? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.53.221.127 (talk) 06:37, 24 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There are. KBS World has very good (though usually short) biographies on singers. See the source I provided for the bio. 小龙 (Timish) # xiǎolóng de xìnxiāng 20:07, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Where should "Park Jae Sang" point to?

Right now I arrive at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Park_Jae-Sang when I search for Park Jae-Sang, but I figure most people are looking for this guy. Maybe make this the default page, or at least add a disambiguation link here from that page?
