Neelima Azeem (Urdu: نیلما عظیم) is an Indian film and TV actress.

Biography

Neelima Azeem's father was Anwar Azeem, a prominent Marxist journalist and Urdu author, who was the grand son of film director, screen writer, Urdu novelist and journalist Khwaja Ahmad Abbas.[1] She got married to Rajesh Khattar but later got divorced. Her son Shahid Kapoor is a Bollywood actor from Pankaj Kapoor. She also has another son Ishaan Khattar from her second marriage. Later she married Raza Khan. However, they separated in 2009.

Career

Azeem studied the Kathak form of Indian classical dance under Birju Maharaj and Munna Shukla.[2] She is known in India for her roles in television shows. She also worked in the Hindi movie Sadak opposite Deepak Tijori.
