Fair use rationale for Image:Rextrailerdvd.jpg

Image:Rextrailerdvd.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Bunkhouse/Boomtown

I'm not sure if this constitutes 'original research' or what, but I would like to add this to the information pool.

I remember Rex Trailer's Boomtown aired at 7 am every Saturday morning. In the early 1960's Rex Trailer's Boston area show with Pablo as his sidekick began at 6:30 am as "Rex Trailer's Bunkhouse." It was just Rex and Pablo talking about the upcoming show at Boomtown, and Rex singing some songs and doing some comedy skits and showing a cartoon or two. The whole half-hour show did take place at their bunkhouse, where they supposedly lived. At the appropriate time, they would 'load up the buckboard' and head on over to Boomtown to begin that show at 7 am. I vividly recall a manic wagon ride with Pablo at the reins as they traveled from the bunkhouse to Boomtown. Then they would arrive at Boomtown at 7 am in time for the regular show.

The 'Bunkhouse' segment always stuck in my mind because I remember I was around 7 years old and I would ask my Dad to wake me up early on Saturdays so I could see it. It always felt like I missed a part of the Boomtown show if I didn't see the Bunkhouse segment.

I hope there are other folks out there that remember this. I always thought it was a cool part of the whole Rex Trailer show.

Original Name

I would like to know what the source is for Rex' original name. I could find no census records for anyone with the alleged birth name - nor for his brother Dallas.

I appeared on several of his young-teen shows in the early 70's, and I remembered being told by staff that his original/legal name was a closely guarded secret (his wife was said to be afraid of being stalked). ~
