Fair use rationale for Image:Republic day air show.jpg
Image:Republic day air show.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Celebration
Good morning to everybody. India is celebrating its 60th republic day. Hearty congratulation to each and every patriotic and honest citizen of India. Dtpeelipose. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dtpeelipose (talk • contribs) 02:27, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
Why "Republic Day"?
The article is missing at least a short mention of what the main difference was between "Dominion Status" up to the adoption of the Indian Constitution and the constitutional form that the subsequent Indian Union was henceforth taking. While it is mentioned that King George VI remained head of state after independence, no mention is made of the fact that the Constitution actually converted India into a republic and thus removed a fundamental constitutional linkage with the British Empire. It is this change that is being celebrated in the national holiday, and it should get at least a mention. 81.179.10.84 (talk) 12:53, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
