Challenged PROD, concern was "Article about a footballer who fails WP:GNG and who has not played in a fully pro league." No indication that the player meets notability standards. C679 13:24, 22 May 2013 (UTC)

- Question Are the stats in the infobox correct? If he has played for Cruzeiro or Atalanta then he would meet the criteria. Number 57 14:08, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
- Keep Stats and articles for Cruzeiro and Atalanta indicate he is or has been a player for these teams. Almost all drafted NFL players have a page whether they talk or not they ever play in a game this should be no different for Association Football. — Falerin<talk>,<contrib> 15:14, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
- What happens re NFL players is totally irrelevant here. Number 57 15:17, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
- My point is that if signed but not playing athletes in any sport are included they should be included in all of them. To do anything else reflects a systemic US Bias which is to be avoided on Wikipedia. — Falerin<talk>,<contrib> 17:00, 23 May 2013 (UTC)

- Comment No idea about the NFL comment; there is no indication this is a NFL player. Stats in the infobox for first two teams were not supported by any reference, I have updated the infobox to reflect this. C679 18:07, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
- Note that the stats for Cruzeiro and Atalanta were added without a reference after the article was PRODded [1]. C679 18:10, 22 May 2013 (UTC)

- Comment He is not. That was not the point; the point is what is good for the NFL is good for association football. I can see no coherent reason that different standards should be applied unless we are encouraging a US bias. I personally have no vested interest either way as I have little to no interest in athletics at all of any sort but I do have interest in avoiding systemic bias.
