Miss America 2014, the 87th Miss America pageant, will be held at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey for the first time since 2005 on September 15, 2013.[2] The winner of Miss America 2013, Mallory Hagan of New York, will crown her successor at the end of this event. It will be broadcast live on ABC. All 50 states plus the District of Columbia, Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico will compete for the prestigious title.
