Summing Carole Laure up

To put it as sweetly as I can: Carole Laure has no talent whatsoever. She is not taken seriously in France as a so-called "comédienne". Her career rides on the beauty of her body and the beauty of her face. Period. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.234.179.52 (talk) 03:59, 6 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

And your point would be, what....? Perhaps you would be good enough to sweetly list your qualifications for being a music/film critic. And while you are at it, you might want to explain to everyone why we should give two hoots about your opinion of Ms Laure. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.17.172.38 (talk) 07:36, 21 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Being a film/music critic is not so much the purview of wikipedia. However, assessment in terms of e.g. awards or accomplishments or the lack of them are relevant. I am merely forwarding the general perception and appreciation of Carole Laure from the French (and Canadian) perspective where she did most of her work. The point was exactly what I said and I have had sufficient interaction with French and Canadian artists working in theatre to get that appreciation. Expressed disdain because you disagree with this perception is not helpful. 69.170.63.187 (talk) 21:08, 6 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I have followed the career of Carole Laure since her movie Death of a Lumberjack, a terrible film whose only highlights are her moments of nudity. This site is too generous and it shows: so many hyperlinks of her movies have no description and for good reason. In her defense, her terrible movies in Quebec were also due to incompetent support from French-Canadian artists but she did get to France with better people and better means and resources only to find that even when given a chance: she is exactly as my earlier comments said and these comments are very lukewarm when compared to the scathing remarks I have seen in Canadian magazines and newspapers.64.134.225.140 (talk) 04:43, 8 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
