What is the DRN co-ordinator?
The DRN co-ordinator is a rotating volunteer position at the dispute resolution noticeboard. They act as an organiser and maintainer of the process. They don't hold any special authority or power over others, and serve only to organise the process in a more effective and efficient way, and act as a contact point for the community in general.
Tasks
- Volunteers
- Maintain the list of DRN volunteers
- Send out participation drives when necessary.
- Participants
- Check in with participants who are yet to weigh in on discussions to make sure that they have been notified
- Help answer any process questions or concerns.
- General
- Ensure all disputes are handled in a timely and efficient manner
- Flag any disputes that need attention
- Refer complex/lengthy disputes to the Mediation Committee.
- Technical
- Watch for and correct edits which break the page format or interfere with the maintenance bots
- Perform monthly analysis of DRN results.
- Update Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard/Co-ordinator/Current when taking on co-ordinator spot.
