RE James Fraser (Home and Away)
I have inserted an image into James' character box:) I Snip And I Snap:) (talk) 12:22, 16 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hey
Hi, just thought I'd check in. Hope you're well. Seems C2k6 is doing the 1988 Neighbours list as well now, so I thought for the collaboration we spoke about previously, we could create either the 1989 or the 1990 list if you like. I think we've probably got enough sources between us. I've already done the 1991 and 1992 lists offline, since I was quite interested in the characters from those, particularly Guy Carpenter. I should probably add them to my userspace some time, but I want to get another couple of drafts finished first. Oh, I know you've edited Corrie articles in the past, so you might be interested in this: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Coronation Street characters (1967). - JuneGloom :Talk 19:09, 16 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Yo. I like the idea of helping with those Neighbours lists. I noticed the Corrie deletion discussion yesterday and earlier I dug some old books out of the pile to see which characters have potential. So I will be helping there too. I just think they probably need some work put into them.Rain the 1 12:56, 17 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- I just thought, if you ever want to recreate Pam Willis's article, I've got a few articles that would come in handy. I can't remember if I sent them to you already though. I know I used one of them for Doug's article and there was way more info for Pam in it. - JuneGloom Talk 00:05, 23 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- I do not think I have had any articles for Pam's article. Might be interesting, I know I thought it was a shame for her to lose the article. And you did such a good job on making one for Doug again.Rain the 1 15:43, 26 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- While working on Geoff's article, I noticed a few sources for that Roman guy. Are you working on an article for him at all? - JuneGloom Talk 16:31, 7 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

your AIV report 8/18
Hi - thanks for reporting the IP vandal to AIV.
We cannot indefinitely block an IP address for vandalism only. Because IP addresses change, and this one looks to be a shared IP address, you should always give a warning to an IP editor, because today's editor might not be tomorrow's user. It never hurts to warn and the warnings usually get people to stop their disruptive editing. That might be why he stopped today - he got a warning from another editor.
I had this thought: it occurs to me that I protected a bunch of those Hollyoaks articles several months ago against IP disruption. I don't have the time to look through my protection logs right now, but if you do you could check to see if this is the same guy or a similar vandal. Thanks again for your report. KrakatoaKatie 02:19, 19 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Thank you for looking into it. I think when you have been here for years now and again warning become a chore when they do not generally stop the disruption. Sometimes they do though. I will take a look and get back to you. It is great that you took the time and remembered helping before.Rain the 1 19:55, 19 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Effectively Saving time creating three new sections! :)
Had a bit of a run over with Scott's, if he had more development the story could easily chopped. Ben Freeman packed a lot into the role over the course of 8 years and I'm unsure what to get rid of. Also, are you done with the development on Todd and VJ, in order for me to add the SLs? I'll see what I can do with Syd but I am no Magician (although I did bang out H&A '95 in two days flat). User:Conquistador2k6 17:14 26 August 2013 (UTC)
Just pointing out that there are few botches in the sources in Chloe's article. (missing urls) Conquistador2k6 14:51 27 August 2013 (UTC)
- One was missing the original URL. But the second error message was a journal citation that had the "accessdate" field filled in. Now someone must have made changes to the template showing little regard for all the work that now has to be done. It is a shame who wanted change did not bother to change the probably 800000000 sources in use with the field filled in or perhaps create a bot so those horrid error messages do not appear. As for Todd and VJ - if the storylines are short and of acceptable size, I do not see why not. I will not be finished anytime soon. And what ever help you offer in the ED articles, much appreciated.Rain the 1 19:38, 27 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Brilliant. I already have Alex in a draft using the stuff we already have in the list to so feel free to wander in and add the new material. Does the new stuff extend to Liam and Stephanie or any other mid-late 90s guests? BTW I readded Todd's storylines for his article after weeks of agonising, If they're too long tell me what to chop and they're gone. Conquistador2k6 12:36 5 October 2013 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for September 22
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Hollyoaks characters, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Joe Thompson (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Duncan button is returning to hollyoaks later 2013 :) Wigglewoggle (talk) 18:37, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply] |
I know he is returning to Hollyoaks Later. You must feel mighty pleased to think you are right, hence the celebratory banner. I was correct to revert you. You added unsourced information to the article - yet again. You are a rubbish editor whose every edit has to be corrected or removed. You are not a team player and think the guidelines do not apply to you. So I have no interest in assuming good faith where you edit.Rain the 1 20:40, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Your reverting was wrong... AGAIN!
Joseph Thompson and Dean Aspen are returning to Hollyoaks/Hollyoaks Later as it was said by digital spy. Please can you stop removing everything I write that I don't put links on. Even if I do, the correct thing to do is to put the link up, not revert the information. I also know how to put a link into an article and I personally believe that you are not a team player. In addition, if you don't like the edit to Leanne Holiday, then you won't mind removing Claire Devine's image by Rui78901.
- I echo the response given to the above editor. Assuming that is not your sock of course.Rain the 1 21:19, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I think that you are actually quite rude and rather much a bully. If you think your not, then why did you say 'You are a rubbish editor whose every edit has to be corrected or removed' to Wigglewoggle. Think before you type.
- I do not think that was the behavior of a bully. It was a response to someone attempting to belittle me with as highly visible wikilove template on talk page. I think it was a fair observation. I work alongside many editors on this project and had no problems. The only ones I have encountered are those trying to cause drama in the light of their own failure to accept that they were being disruptive. If you do not like my response to disruptive editing make the transition to constructive editing. If you would like advice regarding why I have been reverting edits - then please read WP:LEAD, WP:OR, WP:CITE, WP:SOAPS, WP:FAIRUSE. A useful insight to help if anything.Rain the 1 21:43, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I want to start over, im sorry if i have offended you in anyway its just it takes me time to do things and then when it gets removed I get annoyed. Im still learning how to use wikipedia and i do take note of your comments but sometimes i feel the comment is quite rude. Please accept my apologies. I also wanted to confirm the me and Wigglewoggle have no relation
- I accept your apology, of course we can start over. We can work together on here and it actually an enjoyable environment at times. However, I did report you to an admin prior to this. But your last message will obviously play in your favour.Rain the 1 22:14, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hey
Been a while! Just wanted to drop you a note, tell you i'm still alive. Saw your message on my talk page, 2013 list went downhill because i didn't keep it in check, had lots of stuff happening in real life and been really busy. Hope you're alright, i'm going to create Hollyoaks later series 6 page tomorrow, not sure how active i will actually be now though. D4nnyw14 (talk) 22:29, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Hi, can we use Soap Sqwuak as a ref or not? D4nnyw14 (talk) 17:54, 12 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Arghhh! You angry about HO? Assuming you've seen the e4 episode? D4nnyw14 (talk) 23:47, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Quick question, do: [1] and [2] seem reliable? Can't determine whether the author is employed by Yahoo or just publishes her opinion like a blog on their as she's part of the ' Yahoo Contributor Network '. Struggling to find any Later reception, getting desperate with this i think! D4nnyw14 (talk) 23:29, 18 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Im sorry? did i miss something?
referring to your message earlier today I think you need to calm down. all i did was make an edit on the duncan button page which the infomation was correct, if there was no source you could have just added it and not reverted it. p.s i didnt try to 'belittle you' — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wigglewoggle (talk • contribs) 15:21, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- The info may have been correct, but it was unsourced. Which begs the question: why didn't you add a source for it in the first place? You had to have read the info somewhere (either online or offline), so when you went to add it to the article, why did you not add the source at the same time? Why should it be down to Raintheone to do it for you? I would recommend that you take a look at the links Raintheone provided to the other user above, as well as WP:VERIFY. - JuneGloom Talk 22:03, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Re:Seb
Fine. I was acting on June's advice. Has something new turned up?
Conquistafor2k6 12:58 19 October 2013 (UTC)
- I said he could go in the list if any further development info cannot be found. That was really a cue to go look for some or ask Rain for help. I haven't sorted my Highbeam account out yet, but there could be something there. - JuneGloom Talk 12:26, 19 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- As JuneGloom states - always best to look first than last. There is obviously something out there for him.Rain the 1 12:33, 19 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hello
I will keep an eye on those editors you reported to me. Thanks :)--5 albert square (talk) 17:51, 19 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- The editors from weeks ago? Cool - thank you. They are better behaved now - I think anyway. There has been more disruption than ever on here. Please watch the situation at Clare Devine when it is unprotected too - such a shame it was protected, but necessary. Hope you are well.Rain the 1 17:54, 19 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Yes I am well thanks, all is good apart from my phone line currently playing up, means I can't always get online until I get the chance to get a BT engineer out. Only thing is £130 if they deem this to be my fault because according to their system it's not their fault! :(--5 albert square (talk) 18:06, 19 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Way too expensive is that! lol It should be a free repair surely!Rain the 1 22:04, 19 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Just A Chat:)
I seemed to have caused you trouble in the past (Character Images)....I was Learning and have realised all of my mistakes. I will not update unnecessary character images anymore (although when I Started I Inserted some awfully pixelated and blurred images for Jack Holden and Tasha Andrews which I recently changed to clearer, much better ones). I will never ever insert images to lists again (when I learned how to do it I just got carried away, again sorry), however I will continue to insert images into character articles that have none (Recently I inserted images to Kim Hyde and Pippa Saunders), anyway I just wanted to apologise for any inconvenience I have caused you and JuneGloom in the past. Many Thanks, MoodySnippleSnappleI Snip And I Snap:) (talk) 21:59, 19 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- That is okay. You were over eager with the picture updates, sure. But you had good intentions. No need to apologise, but very nice of you. The key to our success is discussion and considering other editors you work with. So all good.Rain the 1 22:04, 19 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Just a small question.
Hi, just have a small question and I was hoping you could answer it, I was just looking over the Hollyoaks character's page and I've noticed all your edits are extremely reliable and always correct. So my question to you is this, Trevor Royle is listed in the recurring characters list, should he not be listed in the main character list? I ask because he is in the main show's intro titles. Sorry if this question sounds dumb. Thanks, Sky.Leticia-Sky (talk) 14:09, 20 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Leanne Holiday
Hi, I have updated Leanne Holiday's image as the old one was a bad picture. Can you please tell me how to suggest a Wikipedia page to be written as I think Nana McQueen, Maxine Minniver, Sienna Blake and Jim McGinn should have there own pages by now. Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by IAidanBarry (talk • contribs) 14:56, 20 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Harvey Ryan and Bianca Scott (Home and Away)
I was just checking to see if it would be okay to remove Harvey Ryan and Bianca Scott from the H&A "Departing Characters" section of the "Home and Away Characters List", there has only been speculation at Bianca's exit and I haven't seen any news on Harvey leaving the soap at all, cheers:) I Snip And I Snap:) (talk) 11:54, 1 November 2013 (UTC) Oops forgot to mention that neither have references[reply]
