Stone Mountain School (known as SMS) is a private therapeutic boarding school for boys aged 11–17, specializing in ADHD and learning differences. Established in 1990 and part of the Aspen Education Group SMS is located in Black Mountain, North Carolina. Stone Mountain School operates under a Special Use permit issued by the U.S. Forest Service in the pristine wilderness of the Pisgah and Nantahala National Forests.[1]
