Tony Hawk's Underground Pro is a 2013 community-made video game mod for the Tony Hawk's series of video games. The mod features levels from across all of the games in the series, as well as online play. The mod continues to be updated with new features and levels. The game uses the engine of Tony Hawk's Underground 2.
Gameplay
The gameplay in Tony Hawk's Underground Pro is similar to that of the main games in the Tony Hawk games series. The mod features levels from across all previous Tony Hawk games, recreated in 1080p in the engine of Tony Hawk's Underground 2 for use in online-multiplayer as well as single-player.
Development
The mod's first official release was on August 10, 2013. In its initial release, the mod featured all levels from Tony Hawk's Underground and its sequel Tony Hawk's Underground 2, as well as custom park themes from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 and Tony Hawk's American Wasteland. It also featured new customization options as well as the ability to use long-boards. [1] On January 10, 2014 a trailer featuring levels from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 was released and it was announced that these levels would appear in a future update.[2] Addition future plans include a new story mode.
Reception
Luke Plunkett of Kotaku reacted positively to the thought of all levels in the series being available for online play.[3]
