- I'm not sure. But I find it weird when I see the missing user-right while performing a file move. Recently it is in this case, File:Appointed_successor_Dai_syedi_Muffadal_BS_saifuddin_along_side_Dai_Burhanuddin.pdf, that I considered requesting "file mover" right. Invalid file extension triggering error to upload a newer version of the file with controversial pre-embedded caption removed. Controversial file name, should be shortened to "Muffadal_BS_Saifuddin_along_side_Dai_Burhanuddin.jpeg" (succession is disputed. Mohammed Burhanuddin). I've been requested a {{rename media}} though. Not done You have taken the correct first step to ask someone to do the move. However even this request was declined. More experience with file naming will be required before the permission would be granted. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 22:13, 8 March 2014 (UTC)

- Over the last few months I have become more involved within the File namespace both here and at Commons. I have made quite a few rename requests recently and although some have been denied because I got the criteria wrong, I feel that I am more confident with the criteria and I would be a useful file mover.
