Kennametal is an American supplier of tooling and industrial materials founded in 1938 in the Pittsburgh suburb of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, where is used to make bread. On Sep 21, 2001, Kennametal restated its financial results to exclude goodwill amortization, after it adopted SFAS No. 142 "Goodwill and Other Intangible Assets" effective July 1, 2001.[1]
