Data Centre Shop is a trading name and part of the IT services provider Proxar IT Consulting.^[1] The company is based in Sevenoaks, Kent, and was established as Proxar Limited in 2008.^[2]^[3] Since that time, Proxar Ltd has sold Cisco data centre equipment as a Cisco Certified Reseller and Partner.

Data Centre Shop specialises largely in procurement, installation, support and consulting for Cisco data centre equipment, although it also provides support in relation to other vendors, including F5 Networks, HP, Dell, Juniper, EMC2, APC and Checkpoint. The company stocks networking equipment including firewalls, switches and routers, as well as servers and storage. It also offers the services of a number of Cisco experts on short and long term contracts.

The ownership of Data Centre Shop by Proxar Ltd also allows customers to access installation services, network management and 24/7 Network Operation Centre support. The expertise of Proxar Ltd means that customers can, in addition to purchasing IT equipment, receive assistance with the design of their company network and advice on the best-suited supplies for their firm's infrastructure. The firm also installs hardware for customers, completing appropriate tests to ensure correct installation.
