Jacob Bragg is an Italian-Australian long distance runner, who currently holds the world single age record for U13 Half marathon.[1][2] http://www.arrs.net/SA_HMar.htmIAAF.
Bragg currently trains at UQ Athletics Centre and the Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre under the training of his father Daniel Bragg. His running style has been described as "springy" , which he has attempted to alter for a more efficient and energy-saving stride pattern, especially in the longer distances.
Late 2013
On the 24th of November 2013, Bragg represented the University of California, Los Angeles and finished 6th in the open 5,000 m event, finishing only 4 seconds behind the bronze medalist at the "We run the city" event at the University of Southern California campus.[3]
2014
Bragg began the year preparing for the 2014 Twilight Half Marathon to attempt to break his own World record. He competed in the race, but pulled out due to lack of energy, which was a result of his Iron deficiency.
In March, Jacob tested positive to an Iron deficiency which had been affecting his performances for the last 6 months.
