Jabari Parker's high school career
You just G4ed Jabari Parker's high school career. The AFD and DRV were for a 49 KB version. I trimmed it down to 33 KB, so it is not a recreation. It is a streamlined version that must be AFDed for deletion.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 00:56, 21 May 2014 (UTC)
- Note G4 says "This excludes pages that are not substantially identical to the deleted version, pages to which the reason for the deletion no longer applies, and content moved to user space for explicit improvement (but not simply to circumvent Wikipedia's deletion policy)."--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 01:02, 21 May 2014 (UTC)
- From the original AfD, it appeared that the issue with the article was not its length or its content per se, but that it was unnecessary to begin with, and that (some of) the information should be in his main article rather than a separate one. ... discospinster talk 03:14, 21 May 2014 (UTC)
- This is a greatly revised article and the commentary on the prior version is likely not relevant on the current version of the article, which is why G4 says it is not to be used on greatly revised articles. I believe an AFD would yield a very different result in this case. There were many types of arguments in the AFD. Some were that the article notable as presented, some were that it was unnecessary, some were that it was overly detailed. This is a completely different article. Given my track record with recreating formerly deleted articles (12 current WP:GAs as you can see in my talk page header), I think I am entitled to the benefit of the doubt and at least a full AFD reconsideration. Also note that some of the arguments that it was unnecessary were made before the main article was trimmed down and when there were greater redundancies.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 04:16, 21 May 2014 (UTC)
- Fair enough, I will restore the article. ... discospinster talk 13:20, 21 May 2014 (UTC)

Please explain why you assume that Ukraine was dominated by Polish Commonweal
Please explain why you make such assumption. It is offensive and not objective. Simple you looking for support statement that Ukraine needed to fight for independence. In fact it was just political war of Cossacks for political rights not a national issue. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.171.96.18 (talk) 22:31, 21 May 2014 (UTC)

Soliciting comment...
Hi! Would you care to review or comment/vote (support/oppose) at my FA nomination for the article New York Dolls (album)? Information on reviewing an FA nomination's criteria is available at WP:FACR. If not, feel free to ignore this message. Cheers! Dan56 (talk) 01:14, 22 May 2014 (UTC)
Femen/Euromaidan/Odessa
Since you did not like the FEMEN update I first did, I have clarified it further by adding a link to a post where a Femen leader states that Ukrainian Femen activists still work with Maidan. And I clarified that there is no direct evident that Femen actually participated, even though Ievgeniia Kraizman posted a photo of herself in front of a fire that day.

Discospinster, could you semi-protect Holden Commodore (VF)? It's being vandalized by sockpuppeteer Altimgamr. Thanks, Bahooka (talk) 03:29, 23 May 2014 (UTC)

Windows XP's source
Hello, Discospinster
I am calling about your revert of User:查理咬我的手指 in Windows XP article. I checked his edit, i.e. the source he provided and verification was successful. The edit is good. I will add {{Cite web}} to it.
Best regards,

Zistebá again
He/she did added unsourced genres again. 183.171.177.196 (talk) 10:06, 24 May 2014 (UTC)
Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. 108.222.253.74 (talk) 06:05, 25 May 2014 (UTC)
Strong keep - Dr. PremRaj Pushpakaran's profile
Strong keep - Dr. PremRaj Pushpakaran's profile is highly notable in India. India is already hideously under-represented in WikiBios. Such articles should be encouraged. Dr. PremRaj Pushpakaran, despite heading some of the most famous US universities like Harvard, had a distinguished academic career as teacher and scientist. True notable people like him always seem to be left out on Wiki! because the person has received significant coverage in reliable sources as a philanthropist; hence the topic passes for publishing.
The article on Dr. PremRaj Pushpakaran was an entirely bad faith move on the nominator's part that was meant to influence the outcome of this AfD and they should be severely trouted if not taken to ANI for such surreptitious actions. The subject is clearly notable from the sources listed above. Even when WP:ATA arguments are discounted, there's still no consensus to exclude the article.
The sources as references, which I've checked, are more than enough to rescue the article. Individual claims are a matter of normal editing. The sources provided can be briefly quoted if more is needed.I urge very strongly to keep the article . As a person of article, he has already earned enough to be in the pages of Wikipedia by now. Remember, Wikipedia is not a pulp newspaper that keeps deleting or 'forgetting' articles as someone just feels like. Those who want to recommend this page to be deleted have neither a vision about Wikipedia nor an idea about the very reasons why the page should be there. It is not because the person has become a 'superstar human being' or an eternal soul, but due to the very viral NOTABILITY he aquired (and continues to aquire) through his calibre. He has singlehandedly strived, succeeded and proved that it is possible to contemplate and execute such research projects for humanity. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.241.56.184 (talk • contribs)

Northview High School, Notable Alumni
The "Rishi Singh (Ninth Parallel), Electronic musician." entry is continually being removed from the Notable Alumni section of the Northview High School Wikipedia page. Rishi Singh is in fact an alumni of Northview High School and is a highly respected individual throughout the student body. We, as a school, would like to add him to this list for his notable achievements in music. Please do not remove him again.
Thank you. 71.59.21.206 (talk) 15:22, 2 June 2014 (UTC)
- He does not appear to be notable by Wikipedia's criteria. See WP:N for guidelines. ... discospinster talk 15:28, 2 June 2014 (UTC)
In googling his given name, you may not find anything related to his music; in googling Ninth Parallel along with the names of his works, you'll see numerous large-time U.S. and non-U.S. blogs writing pieces on him as well as large YouTube channels raving about his music. Tasty Network is a Latvian channel with over three hundred thousand worldwide subscribers. The same goes for Epic Network Records, with a little over three hundred and seventy thousand worldwide subscribers, based in Lithuania. The list goes on.
