Jesper Olsen - ultra runner

This article states that Jesper Olsen in his World Run II completed the first documented run through Africa (2009-2010). However, the Guinness Book of Records lists Nicholas Bourne as having run from Cape Town to Cairo in 318 days in 1998, presumably they required documentation. Is there a contradiction here? (Record for Cairo to Cape Town or vice versa on Foot). I have an interest as I am myself planning to run the length of Africa in the near future. Suspicious Editing of Jesper Olsen (runner) page

I request a third and impartial editor to intervene and ensure that the bias editing of this article ceases and that it remains encyclopedic and exempt of propaganda. An Unsubstianted Claim

In this article it states that he was "the second person verified to have run around the world (16,000 miles: 2004-2005)"

a. Verified by who?

b. Where is the proof?

c. 16,000 miles falls far short of the minimum distance required by Guinness World Records for 'around the world'

d. Is this not propaganda?

Over 9 months not 6 months

In this article it states that this person had a "6 month illness and injury". Actually, it was 9 1/2 months.

"Africa was reached by 15 March 2010" and "He then continued his run on 1 January 2011". This equates to 9 1/2 months.

'World Run' False Claims

This article is about a person who has NEVER run around the world.

1. His first attempt fell far short of the minimum distance required for 'around the world'.

2. His second attempt broke the rules when he returned home half way through for 9 months.

3. In both cases we do not see any verification or proof.

4. This article is pure propaganda, a mere blog written by himself or people associated to him.

Sorry to sound harsh, but this is just a load of rubbish. It is a vanity piece of writing as opposed to fact.

PROOF OF RATIFICATION

Please debate PROOF OF RATIFICATION here in the Talk Area and debate it on fact. The BIG question is: was this person's running attempts EVER officially "verified". Frankly, I don't see any proof of ratification, therefore, one cannot assert anything until that time. It is not personal, it is factual.
