Sarah... Ang Munting Prinsesa (lit. Sarah... The Little Princess) is a 1995 Filipino family-drama film adapted from a popular anime Princess Sarah which in turn based on the children's novel A Little Princess by English playwright and author Frances Hodgson Burnett. The film was directed by Romy Suzarra and starred then-child star Camille Prats as Sara Crewe, Angelica Panganiban as Becky and Jean Garcia as Ms. Minchin.
Plot
Sarah Crewe (Camille Pratts), who went to a boarding school in England, was born in India. Leaving is rather hard for Sarah and so her father bought her a doll named Emily.
Sarah quickly became the centre of attention at school and befriends almost all students, even the school skivvy, Becky (Angelica Panganiban), and excluding Lavinia (Angelica Pederson) and her friends.
On Sarah's birthday, someone told her that her father died in the war, and yearning for money, Miss Minchin (Jean Garcia) threw her away in the attic for her room and got all of her possessions.
In the end, her father's friend discovered that his friend's daughter, the person they were searching for a very long time just lives next door, and he got the chance to give her a good life, as to her father's kindness of saving his.
