The 2015 Endless Summer Tour is the first headlining concert tour by American singer Lana Del Rey, launched in support of her third studio album, Ultraviolence (2014). The tour will visit the Americas and other countries with dates unannounced. 17 dates throughout the United States and Canada were originally announced with another leg to be announced. Courtney Love will be also be touring with Del Rey for 8 shows.
Background and development
In late 2013, Del Rey announced she would be releasing her third album titled Ultraviolence.[1] West Coast was the first single of the album released on April 14, 2014. The album, Ultraviolence was released on June 13, 2014 debuting at number one on the Bilboard 200 with sales of 182,000, making it Del Rey's first number-one album in the U.S. and responsible for a career-best sales week.[2] After two weeks, Ultraviolence sold 220,000 copies in the U.S.[3] On December 1st, Del Rey announced she would be headlining a tour with shows featuring Courtney Love.[4] The tour is promoted by LiveNation.
