"Fighting Temptation" was a single released by R&B singer Beyoncé and female rappers Missy Elliott, MC Lyte and Free. The single was meant to promote the film The Fighting Temptations, in which Beyoncé also has a part. The song is part of the official soundtrack. As it was released at the same time as the second single from Beyoncé's "Dangerously In Love", Baby Boy, the song did not become a big hit and failed to enter the Billboard Hot 100 and other important American charts. However, the single recieved some attention from European countries, eventually peaking at the top 20 position in the Netherlands.
