Welcome

This page should not be speedily deleted because... Patricia Meyerowitz was an important jewellery designer in the 1960 up until her death in 1912. Patricia has 2 pieces of jewellery on permanent exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, England and there is a planned exhibition of her work in October 2015. Patricia s also mentioned in a number of books about jewellery design. Most notably in R. Turner's book: 'Contemporary Jewelry; A critical assessment 1945-1975, where he writes: 'Patricia Meyerowitz, now living in America, is an important British jeweller. In a lecture given by her at the Rhode Island School of Design in 1972... ' etc. And later in the book: 'Charles Handley-Read ... had just begun to acquier a taste for modern jewellery during the sixties, when he added pieces by Patricia Meyerowitz... to his collection'. Charles Handley-Read has a wikipedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Handley-Read. Two photos of Patricia's jewellery also appear in the book.

In another book by R. Turner, 'Jewellery in Europe and America: new times, new thinking', Patricia Meyerowitz is mentioned a couple of time in this book, too. On page 18: 'Along with these developments, British jewellery began to shed some of its conservatism... Round about this time, Patricia Meyerowitz was writing her first book on jewellery and sculpture, outlining her methods of compiling compound units, which she recycled into restrained, Constructivist work. Again, there is a wikipedia page on Constructivist art https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constructivism_(art)

Patricia Meyerowitz also has a sculpture on permanent exhibition in Easton, PA where she lived since 1985. http://eastoneccentric.blogspot.co.uk/2013/10/karl-stirner-sculpture-to-be-dedicated.htmlMeyerowitz (talk) 21:35, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

C-STEM

Hi, I'm CSTEMWiki. It's my first time ever doing a Wikipedia page so the things I typed seems to be promotional. Can you quote the sentences or areas that it may seem to be promotional? Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CSTEMWiki (talkcontribs) 20:37, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Webster92109 responding to your message on All About Vision

Hi. I further edited the All About Vision page by removing superlatives and adding references. I hope that helps. Webster92109 (talk) 22:37, 2 July 2014 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Webster92109 (talkcontribs) 22:33, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Additional All About Vision Feedback

Hi. I'd appreciate any constructive criticism you can offer, although the page I wrote has already been deleted. I reviewed other medical website pages before writing mine, to get an idea of how to do a better job than what exists. I'm not sure how pages like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clinical_Advisor and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renal_%26_Urology_News and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medical_News_Today have a place in Wikipedia. I believe I offered substantially more information, but clearly my effort was still lacking in some way, and I'd love to know how. Thanks in advance for your input. Review for Vizidrix.com

I would appreciate a re-evaluation of the speed deletion recommendation. I'm not terribly familiar with the process so any information that would help meet terms would also be appreciated.

Hello Kges1901. I am just letting you know that I have converted the speedy deletion tag that you placed on International Journal of Business and Emerging Markets to a proposed deletion tag, because I do not believe CSD applies to the page in question. Thank you. Eastmain (talkcontribs) 23:39, 6 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Promotional message on Zeek page

Hi, I'm yofisimon> You instantly ask for the speed deletion of the Zeek page I made, protesting a promotional message. I don't see any kind of promotional message, but if something in the page has to be removed, quote me it and it will be removed instantly. Thx — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yofisimon (talkcontribs) 14:01, 8 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

New Page Patrol

Hi there. Thank you for patrolling new pages. However, after a review of some of your patrols and taking into account that you are very new here with fewer than 300 edits, I think it would help you to review some of our policies and guidelines concerning deletion and new page rewieving, before you do any more patrolling. The information you need is found essentially at WP:NPP and WP:DELETION, but if you need any help don't hesitate to ask me on my talk page although I may be a b it slow to respond for the moment. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 12:09, 27 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Potentialife

Hi Kges1901

Thanks for your note - and the work you do. In this case I don't think its an appropriate deletion tag - Potentialife is already very significant in its impact despite only launching to market recently. It has been founded by two of the leading leadership experts in the world and has been especially designed to deliver a way of changing behavior based on science to make people happier and more successful. I find it hard to think of something more significant ! Let me know if you require any more details, Best and great day, Daniel — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dcj1988 (talkcontribs) 11:20, 15 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Altered speedy deletion rationale: Girish lad

Hello Kges1901, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I deleted Girish lad, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, under a different criterion from the one you provided. The speedy deletion criteria are extremely narrow and specific, and the process is more effective if the correct criterion is used. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. kelapstick(bainuu) 13:23, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Specifically, the page was speedy deleted previously, the criteria you gave was it was deleted via deletion discussion (such as articles for deletion). This was not the case so it was not eligible under the criterion you gave, however it was eligible under a different criterion. Thank you,

I have unreviewed a page you curated

Rotogrinders

Hey, I was following the suggestions of another Admin who had triggered the original deleltion of the Rotogrinders entry on what to add to get the entry re-created properly - The reason for deletion was notability that was being questioned. I expanded the article to reference the companies partnership with NBC sports, it's 10,000+ membership and it's citations by Forbes Magazine as proof of notability as suggested by that admin. Did I miss something ? Jeremypenguin (talk) 22:01, 12 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No, I made a mistake. --Kges1901 (talk) 22:02, 12 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Juan Esteban Rodríguez Segura.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Juan Esteban Rodríguez Segura.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 23:06, 15 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Juan Esteban Rodríguez Segura, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chilean (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

24th Battalion

Hi there, I have coincidentally been working on a draft article of the 24th Battalion in my sandbox and then noticed you had started 24th Battalion (New Zealand). I have moved most of my work into the article although still need to finish off the Egypt section, add a Tunisia section, and the latter stages of the Italian campaign. I can see you have put a lot of work in but there is an excessive amount of detail in both the formation and Greece sections. You should consider trimming these down a bit (for example, it isn't necessary to list company commanders or discuss where Shuttlesworth placed his HQ if it is not important to the narrative). I have corresponding formation/Greece sections for 24th Battalion in my sandbox but don't want to just paste these over your work arbitrarily. In the meantime, I will be working on 25th Battalion (New Zealand). Cheers. Zawed (talk) 08:11, 18 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

PS, I should have mentioned it is good to come across another editor working on NZ milhist articles! Zawed (talk) 08:21, 18 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You were a bit eager to delete this. I got four minutes between creating the page and putting some placeholder text before you got rid of it. That's outrageous. I entered the proper text within five minutes, I hope you'll add it all back. As far as I can see the content is good.

Hardesty & Hanover for deletion

Hardesty & Hanover is a 125 year old small engineering firm that designed hundreds of historic and current bridges across the US and the world. You tagged me for deletion within moments of me saving my first draft so I could get lunch.

If you delete my page because it is "promotional" then I will protest that all of my larger competitors that have Wikipedia pages that are less historical. I designed the H&H page based on what seems to be acceptable for my competitors. — Preceding unsigned comment added by H4rd3sty99 (talkcontribs) 19:04, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
