The Rx 300 series is an upcoming family of GPUs developed by AMD. The cards are the first to feature High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) which is faster[1] than the current GDDR5 memory. It is expected that the cards will be released in 2015 with the R9 390 and R9 390x.
