"first stainless steel carriages"

Dubious claim. South Australian Railways stainless steel Cafeteria Car was built in 1947. I don't know if that was the first stainless steel carriage in Australia but it certainly predates the Budd cars. 203.9.185.136 (talk) 00:11, 16 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
