Bajrangi Bhaijaan is an upcoming Indian action romantic drama film directed by Kabir Khan, and produced by Salman Khan and Rockline Venkatesh under the banner Salman Khan Films.[1] It features Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles. It's a man on mission story about a little girl from Pakistan lost in India and how she is reunited with her country and family with the help of Bajrani Bhaijaan.[2] Principal photography began in New Delhi in November 2014, and the film is scheduled for release on 17 July 2015.[3]

Production

Principal photography began on 3 November 2014 in New Delhi, with Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan participating. The second filming schedule took place at the ND Studios, Karjat. The third schedule of the film was held in Mandawa, Rajasthan. On 7 January 2015, Khan was seen on the top of castle of Mandawa playing cricket with a young boy.[4] On 10 January 2015, Khan shot with school students in Rajasthan's Jhunjhunu district.[5]

Synopsis

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is the moving story of Pavan's quest to unite a 5 year old girl from Pakistan who gets separated from her mother at an Indian railway station, against all odds. Pavan is an ardent devotee of Hanuman. Set against the backdrop of the colorful Chandni Chowk, the film travels from the heartland of Punjab, through the deserts of Rajasthan, over the snow-capped mountains of Kashmir and finally to Pakistan. Bajrangi Bhaijaan tells the story of how Pavan, who will move heaven and earth to fulfil the promise he made to the girl from across the border.[6]

Soundtrack

The music of Bajrangi Bhaijaan is composed by Pritam. Singer Nakash Aziz will lend his voice to Salman Khan for the first time.[7]

Marketing

The first look of Salman Khan was released on 26th May by actor Shah Rukh Khan on twitter. Director Kabir Khan had decided to show the teaser of the film to 50 lucky fans, 24 hours before the public release in a theater called Lightbox in Mumbai on 27th May. The teaser of the film was released on 28 May 2015 on Star TV at 7.58 pm.[8]
