MINX (Hangul 밍스) is a South Korean girl group created by Happy Face Entertainment, and is the sister group of Dal Shabet[1]. The overall group concept is of mischievous tomboys, and consists of five members: Ji-U (지유), Su-A (수아), Siyeon (시연), Yoohyeon (유현), and Dami (다미). MINX made their debut on September 18, 2014 with, "Why Did You Come To My Home"[2]. On July 2, 2015 MINX released their Love Shake music video[3].

Career

2014: Pre-debut, Debut

MINX held one of their first live performances at the Oak Valley Summertime Festival on August 9, 2014[4][5]. They performed two original songs: "Action", and "Why Did You Come To My Home". On September 15, 2014 Happy Face Entertainment revealed their new girl group[6][7]. Three days later, on September 18, 2014, MINX's debut music video was released. "Why Did You Come To My Home" is a "new take on the children's rhyme"[2] of the same name. Promotions for their debut ended October 26, 2014, with a final performance on Inkigayo[8][9]. On December 22, 2014 Happy Face Entertainment released a video cover of the Christmas classic "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree" featuring MINX and [[Dal Shabet][10][11][12][13]

2015: Comeback

On June 22, 2015 Happy Face Entertainment announced the date and name of MINX's first comeback. Love Shake, a mini album, will be released on July 2, 2015 at 12 pm[14][15][16][17]. Love Shake is described as, "a joyous song" that "goes well with summer[18]. June 30 and July 1 , MINX performed their comeback stages on The Show (South Korean TV series) and Show Champion. On July 2, the Love Shake music video was released[19]. Also on July 2, MINX held and performed a press showcase at Ellui, a club in Seoul[20].
