Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that the page you created was tagged as a test page under section G2 of the criteria for speedy deletion and has been or soon may be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Joseph2302 when editing, I accidentally took the {{New page}} template off. I am building a project page so could you please remoce the speedy deletion template? Thanks Wikipenguin 8 (talk) 18:52, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Wikipedia talk:Treehouse, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Don't remove my talkpage comments because you consider them resolved. They are required to be kept for history and copyright attribution purposes. Joseph2302 (talk) 19:19, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I deleted the content about the move to and from the sandbox because it was resolved, and just sitting there made looking at what happened confusing. Wikipenguin 8 (talk) 19:21, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
It's required to be kept for history and attribution purposes. Also, it's almost never acceptable to remove other people's talkpage comments. Joseph2302 (talk) 19:23, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Wikipedia talk:Treehouse. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Stop adding the "Treehouse" logo to this talkpage. A talkpage doesn't need a picture of the logo of your made up fake Wikiproject. Joseph2302 (talk) 20:14, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is ridiculous, you are abusing your power all because I was right about a simple policy. If this goes on, I might have to report you. Or we can just calm down. It is not a fake wikiproject. It is a real one as it is not intended as vandalism. You can not give me a warning for vandalism because you do not agree with an edit I make that is clearly not Vandalism. Wikipenguin 8 (talk) 20:17, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Adding your made up logo to a talkpage is disruptive. Also, go report me, there's no case, I'm just following Wikipedia procedure, not my fault you claim to have created a new Wikiproject my making 1 logo. Joseph2302 (talk) 20:20, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Wikipedia talk:Treehouse. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a loss of editing privileges.

No benefit to the encyclopedia of having a logo on the talkpage. Joseph2302 (talk) 20:21, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

First off the project as a whole in the end is going to have a benefit to the encyclopedia and my edit was a part of that whole. Secondly, I did not claim to make it up, I made it already you dont have to recognize it but you dont decide whether other wikipedians do or not. Third, I am not going to edit war with you over this, as you have shown the tendency to revert over and over and this doesnt need to turn into an edit war. This is really all spiteful due to the fact that a newbie proved you wrong with wikipedia policy. Wikipenguin 8 (talk) 20:27, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 23:56, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

You are blocked as a sock of User:The Editor of All Things Wikipedia. Please do not do this again. Any reviewing administrators: this is a checkuser block. Risker (talk) 03:22, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This user is asking that their block be reviewed:

Request reason:

@Risker: Hi, can you unblock me? I had an account maybe a couple years ago but I had a lot going on as far as school and had some personal stuff going on too and became less active. (I think I had a little over 2,000 edits.) I just finished high school this year and am taking a gap year before heading to college and am still living with my family at home here in San Diego. I was spending the summer here with my brother, he was just a freshman, and he was complaining about being bored so I managed to get him hooked on Wikipedia. But I'm sorry for that because as it turns out, a moody high schooler looking for control is probably not a good match for wikipedia ☺. He got hooked and I was appreciating the peace an quiet so I didn't pay much attention to what he was doing on here like I should have, but he ended up being too hardheaded and got his sorry a** blocked. I told him that in life as well as online, he has to deal with the consequences of his actions. He told me that everyone on there was out to get him and some other crap and said he'd give me 20 bucks if I could hold off a week on here without getting a block. I accepted obviously to prove him wrong, get twenty bucks, and because I had nothing better to do (I had a job at RadioShack but they went out of business half a year ago.). I reset our router to get a new IP because it wouldn't let me create a new account and then made one. So thats where I was up till now. I got into this again and I'll for sure be on here for more than the week for the bet (And this block doesn't count for that.). I was just doing some research into his account and he did some pretty screwed up stuff and I would have given him the block. He's had issues with cyber-bullying in the past so I hope this taught him a lesson to not mess with people and I'll try to make sure he doesn't get back on as he was a serious annoyance so don't worry about that. My actions so far are very clearly different from my brother's so thats one point against the sockpuppetry. I think that you are right to be suspicious but in this case, it's just a weird situation. Since I'm not my brother and a different account owner, I am not a sock and my actions do far back that up. People like my brother can't control themselves well online and I think that is something you can agree with so I think you should lift the block and then monitor me for a while, looking out for telling signs that my brother instead would be the operator of this account. I understand your reason for blocking my account but this is a weird situation as I said above. I think that that my suggestion is a fair solution to this that way I am not wrongfully blocked and you can feel like you aren't letting a disruptive editor loose by undoing the block. Thank You.
