Comment: There is too much CITEKILL (and too much BOMBARD as a result), and all it does is cover up what has already been noticed by kikichugirl: Stevens appears to be only notable by association. There are simply not enough sources that talk specifically about him. More importantly, though, there do not need to be three references saying Stevens played guitar for Artist X; one reference is sufficient. Remove the excess, add in more sources about Stevens, and this draft may just be acceptable. Primefac (talk) 02:51, 19 September 2015 (UTC)
Comment: The musician needs to stand on his own for notability. The many references showing that he performed with better known artists actually works against you here, because it looks like an attempt at "fame by association." Sales sites, social sites, and blogs do not contribute to notability, and should be avoided. Lists of performances/recordings are primary sources and do not contribute well to notability. The question is not the number of citations but the QUALITY of citations. The most important thing is to find writings ABOUT him (as a musician, reviews are most helpful), and use those to source the WP article. LaMona (talk) 13:06, 18 September 2015 (UTC)
