Singles, albums and compilations
What happened to all the single information, like tracklists, remixes and B sides? I know all the singles had links to them. There were some compilations on here too...where did they go? Why is Amazing & Beautiful not on the singles discography? It was released in Germany. Someone has tried to clean up the site but has deleted some important discography information. Also "C'est Cool" did not chart in Denmark at number 9. It was on a Danish website where people had to vote. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.192.71.2 (talk) 20:49, 31 March 2012 (UTC)
Clean up!
Well, interesting read if you don't wanna learn anything! Can't someone clean it up!
???
Can you say CLUTTERED? And what happened to the page I made for "Another Day"?
Releases
Any possibility that someone wants to take on the task of cleaning up the Release section? --Threatis 21:13, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
Imposter
Whigfield is not the singer in my opinion it's Annerley Gordon!
I have many tunes with Annerley Gordon on the vocals produced in Italy and the vocal is the same!!
I'd put money on it!
Just look at Black Box. They had Catherine Quinol as the lead singer - I saw her many times on TV performing Right On Time. However the vocals for most if not all Black Box tunes are sampled from Loleatta Holloway acapella's.
IMHO extremely unlikely, simply because AG is British, and the Scandinavian accent of "Whigfield" isn't exactly hard to miss. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.159.74.100 (talk) 16:30, August 25, 2007 (UTC)
- I have to concur with this. The fact that there are no citations about Whigfield being the singer of her own songs screams that this is just a contentious piece of writing that doesn't deserve to be included. There have supposedly been several attempts by the producers of Whigfield over the years to cover up her being dubbed by another singer, including on the internet (most likely timed to coincide with the release of the greatest hits album)! So she "appeared" on the radio and sang her own songs - how do we know that wasn't Annerley who made the appearance?
- Speaking personally, I've listened to plenty of Annerley Gordon tracks circa the year Saturday Night was recorded. The vocals on that hit are undoubtedly Annerley, when compared to other tracks she's recorded. The fact that Annerley was so heavily involved with Italo producers at that time makes it hard to ignore, when faced with the very weak alternative that the producers just happened to pick a girl who sounded exactly like her. - I would believe you if it wasn't for the fact that the singer who sings Saturday Night has a HUGE Scandinavian accent while Annerley Gordon is British. I doubt she would sing with an accent on purpose. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.10.46.8 (talk) 14:39, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
There is litteraly no proof for this save for the fact that Annalise soudns similar, how do we know that that wasn't Sanny. get the point? Also I made this argument on the Ann Lee talkpage, so i'm reiterating it here: Annerley Gordon is youtuber vipersword100's real name. How do I know this? listen to the voices. There you go, that's my proof. Oh you're crying bullshit? so why do you get to say that Whigfield is Annerley gordon and that there's proof while only saying that someone has video evidence of Annerley doing saturday night and also saying that the voices soudn allike which I'll give you that there are similarities. Howcome you guies get to say that Annerley is whigfield and yet I use the same reasoning you use and make the claim that I have proof of it when I say that vipersword100 the youtuber is Annerley Gordon for sure, and you guies call bullshit on it? Same logic, same amount of proof, both are obviously equally false. But why do you get to do it, and yet this Mancunian pilot can't? it's what I like to call hypocritical logic to the 3rd degree. So there you go. A little wisdom frmo this 31 year old Mancunian pilot who now lives in the middle of Canada. I'll let you digest it and come up with a reasonable response either here or to my comments on the Ann Lee talkpage.

Any idea why "Whigfield" ? -- Beardo (talk) 12:59, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
I recall it being said on a radio program years ago that she chose the name after the name of one of her music teachers at school. Clearly I have no reference to support this though! SimonUK (talk) 10:38, 6 September 2009 (UTC)

Clean Up
Hi everyone,
Just so you know I will be looking at the Whigfield on Wiki over the next few months. I understand it is in a bit of a state at the moment (not all my fault!). I have updated some of the Discography but would like to turn it into a discograpy page to make it more easy to follow.
Watch this space and PLEASE don't delete the page!
Many thanks,
Stephen

"Charlotte not Sannie"...
We have been getting edits like this from editors claiming to be represent the subject of the article, and saying that she goes by "Charlotte not Sannie". I went and looked for any reliable source saying that, and found none. They all use Sannie. So we cannot make that change. Jytdog (talk)
- In any instance, it should be "Carlson" and not "Sannie" or "Charlotte". -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 18:14, 14 July 2015 (UTC)
