Assess : newly added and existing articles, maybe nominate some good B-class articles for GA; independently assess some as A-class, regardless of GA status.
Cleanup : * Sport governing body (this should-be-major article is in a shameful state) * Field hockey (History section needs sources and accurate information - very vague at the moment.) * Standardize Category:American college sports infobox templates to use same font size and spacing. * Sport in the United Kingdom - the Popularity section is incorrect and unsourced. Reliable data is required.
* Fix project template and/or "to do list" Current version causes tables of content to be hidden unless/until reader chooses "show."
I added a referral to association football/soccer.
American Football delay of game penalty; MLB dubious tag
I added the Dubious tag after, "This rule, however, is virtually ignored completely," as the cited source is from 2011 and Major League Baseball ordered umpires to enforce this rule during spring training in 2015.
I originally came here to see if I could find out what would happen if a team suffered a second delay of game penalty. In all of my years of watching football, I have never, ever, seen a team have this happen. Is that because the penalty for the second time is unusually draconian?? After all, a team with the lead at the end of a game could conceivably do nothing, and just let the clock run out as they kept backing up five yards at a time by suffering a delay of game penalty time after time. If there is no actual more substantial penalty for a second consecutive delay of game, would the team be given another type of penalty? Seriously, I have wondered this for years and no one I've ever asked knows the answer.
