Further research needed

Will Halydean be the oldest publicly traded company in the world? Further research is needed. I have been unable to find anything close to it. Please share your findings.~~Insightfullysaid~~


Research

Halydean Corporation is researching the use of technology to increase food production while decreasing carbon emissions and improving animal health and local environmental cleanliness. Notability

Halydean is unique in that it was founded by the Crown owned by the Church (rivaled in Scotland only by St. Andrews), then owned by the State, then owned privately[1], and is now soon to be listed as a publicly traded company[2]. Halydean is also unique in that its owner, during feudal times, had the legal authority to carry out the death sentence, and did so.
